Well, lookee here. Adobe products barely get any advantage out of MP.

Read, discuss.

This is the second article I've read at that site, and I'm pretty much convinced their a bunch of bozoes that don't have a clue.

First off, I don't think anyone goes out and buys a duallie and says "WOW, I'M REALLY GOING TO BE ABLE TO FLY THROUGH ILLUSTRATOR NOW"

    Illustrator? A vector program?

Photoshop won't start using the second processor unless the file is at least 50 MB in size. Taking and image which is at broadcast resolution and applying a bazillion filters to it isn't realistic.

It's pretty hard to botch a test for FCP ... it's a kick ass program.

I didn't read everything ... I can usually get a clue when I'm waisting my time, but there are other benefits to a duallie ... like rendering stuff in the background, and using multiple apps at once, as well not to mention rendering quartz until 10.2 comes out <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

Also in After Effects. Processors won't hit over 110% or higher unless you have thousands of layers and with filters on each....
