When should I get excited when iPhoto is upgraded or OS X?

I have a PowerShot A40 that is a newer model and not yet supported by iPhoto *sigh*. I've been stuck using the XP Powertoy on my peecee but would like to use iPhoto at some point, obviously.



So with what upgrade will my prayers be answered, iPhoto or OS X?

    You can use most Canon camera's with iPhoto, you just have to 'hack' the drivers to recognize you camera.

    It's easy you just need to edit the .plist file with a text editor (like BBedit) full instructions are to be found in this <a href="http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=37&t=003122"; target="_blank">MacNN thread</a>
