<a href="http://homepage.mac.com/slitchdesign/"; target="_blank">Chimera Chameleon is a simple utility that allows you to quickly change the color scheme of the Chimera Navigator interface. The Chameleon comes bundled with six different color schemes, and thirteen additional ones are also available for download from this site.

Chimera Chameleon is freeware. There is nothing spectacular about it, but it does exactly what it claims, and has such pretty colored buttons (and graphite too). If you are so moved, drop us an email to tell us so - we love feeling appreciated

It took us a while but we are finally able to release this. We hope you enjoy it.

Hmm. FYI, loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream... i.e., red, gold, and green.

On the other hand, I'm a man without conviction, who doesn't know how to sell a contradiction. So take this with a grain of salt.

It would look much better if you properly preserved the alpha channels in those.

Sorry you didn't like it but I am not a graphic artist, I was just bored and wanted to show my love for the browser. We haven't seen any effect of the alpha change to the graphics on the presentation in the browser itself. however, if you are seeing some problems with the appearance in Chimera, we are very interested, and would like to see it. Could you please send a screen shot of the browser with the problems you are seeing? If so, we will fix the graphics sets and post a new download. Thanks.

Oh, no, I do like them, it just would seem that I could have done a better job given fifteen minutes in Photoshop. In fact, I've done just that to prove my point.

Here are the original Navgator buttons:

Here are your custom buttons. Note the dark areas where you didn't preserve the transparency:

Here is my own set I just made that works more like the originals:

Now, I mean no offense towards your work. You've made a nice program to switch the colors (something that is actually supposed to be a standard feature sometime in the future) but the lack of attention to detail like this really detracts from it.

All I have is Graphic Converter, nothing fancy like PS. Anyone know how I can correct for Alpha transparancy in this program
