I sure hope they don't end up crushed in defeat over the next coupe of weeks. It is hard to imagine not stumbling with so much hype having been built up over the past weeks. I realize now why Apple would rather say nothing up to the moment of intro.

Expect AAPL to tumble due to short sellers and profit-taking upon release of the iPhone. Always happens after a major product release.
It's not a Cinema Display unless part is masked out. The iPhone's aspect ratio is 3:2 (or 2:3), which the old Al PowerBooks used to have, but all current Apple displays are 8:5 (aka 16:10). (And wide TVs are 16:9.)

Back on topic; those are awesome, and I want one. I wonder if they rotate in place to show coverflow and what not. Doubt it but that would be cool.
Could you imagine! Instead of pinching to enlarge the screen you'd have to use both arms. Imagine a person with that size screen throwing there arms around the screen like a maniac; zooming and zooming haha

i dont think it would be very practical to have a phone that big. seems a bit bulky to me... :P
