how does one do a video capture like that? thanks!



on a semi-tangent note: how does one do screen caps in mac os x?

    In Mac OS X, the default way to do a full screenshot is to press commnand-shift-3. To capture a section of the screen, press command-shift-4 and you'll get a crosshair icon to select the section to capture.

    You can also use "Grab" for still images, found in the utilities folder.

    For video captures, Snapz Pro X is king, though there are a few competing products that aren't as pricey.



    For simple image screen-caps, you can just use cmd-shift-3/4, though Snapz offers a few more options.
