Any ideas? I actually did a reinstall of tiger today, and this has been about my only hiccup. For some reason Preview freezes, i get the spinning beach ball, and i've gotten the "The application Preview has unexpectedly quit" dialogs. Hm....
Ok, that means it's probably preview and not the PDFs. It could be that Preview isn't supporting a feature of the PDFs though, sometimes recently made PDFs have newer features that only work in apps like Acrobat.

When it crashes, it comes up with a dialog and there's a report button. Clicking that gives you the log.
These reports are stored in /Library/logs/crashreporter or /Users/<name>/Library/logs/crashreporter under the name of each app.
You can also try deleting your Preview preferences in /Users/<name>/Library/preferences/com.apple.preview.plist.
