Best audio app for producing HIP HOP BEATS??

Ok, so I've been fooling around with Reason 2, but I still haven't figured out how to get anything close to the type of sound I want, i.e. more of a hip-hop/R&B/rap flavor. I have made some nice techno/dance hall/trance beats however, which is also something I do wanna do (not relegated to just 1 genre). However, I want something that will do hip-hop, R&B, and rap beats. If anyone has more experience with Reason and can tell me how to achieve it using this program then I would greatly appreciate it.

    It has absolutely nothing to do with the program you use.



    And there is no "best audio app." Hip-Hop producers, just like all producers, use a range of instruments and all have their individual favorites.

    The program the get is 'Battery' by Native Instruments. It's the best drumsampler available. Allows you to do stuff you never thought possible with 'just' drums!! Not OS X yet, unfortunately, but worth switching to OS 9 for!!!!!

    Nah, I only want OS X. Any drum samples worth takin a look at for OS X?
