I guess you have a problem reading or comprehending, or both.
I'll repeat for you what I said, and hope your brain cells can take it from there: "I am not a doctor -- I don't know if you are one -- and hence I have no idea how these things evolve three years later...." (Bold mine).

So you have no idea about the subject but felt like you needed to post a challenge to my response to spam. Ok, as long as my brain cells have absorbed that one, whew...
Without the ability to adjust the volume of the sound tracks relative to the video head position, I cannot understand how anyone could create even the crudest of videos. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I am unable to find any function in iMovie to control the audio in any meaningful way.

I have watched the tutorials and they only give a cursory overview of the capabilities. My disappointment stems from the fact that the old iMovie handled editing of audio volume in the same manner as every other video application. You had the ability to drag the volume curves any way you needed in the waveform track.
For some inexplicable reason they decided to remove this very valuable feature in the 'upgrade'.

You know how some people like to hear themselves talk?
SpamSandwich (appropriate name) likes to read his name on internet boards -- whether or not he actually has anything to say.

I can now confirm that iMovie is still useless.

Removed post.... The tutorial doesn't show that you can do it by position only by entire song... Here's the link anyway... http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/#imovie
