I love the asterisk with 'Select Songs, (3 days 3 plays)'

Ooh, I want one so bad.

It's hard to believe some one got paid to come up with such a pathetic product and ad campaign.

I'm thinking 2001: A Space Odyssey.... People discover them, go insane and kill each other.

I was mostly commenting on how MS was advertising Zunes on AI. Not quite their target market, right?

Maybe I'm watching too much Buffy lately.

Or maybe the Zune is really Microsoft's future.

Nice point. I think you're on to something.

They are poking up out of black grass. Sort of an Addam's Family garden scene. What a mess.

Believe me, I actually missed the AI part of the image. That makes it a bit funny, yeah, but not the funniest ad ever.

The one mushroom is sprouting up next to the brown Zune, suggesting an effect less like an infectious agent and more like a fertilizer.

Sill makes me chuckle. I wonder if they've actually got any hits on that link from here. I doubt they could have gotten any more than like 50.

Maybe they are trying to evoke Stonehenge? But I'll go with the previous suggestion of 2001 Space Odyssey.
