Woo! IU beat Western Michigan 37-27! Next up on the checklist, the Akron Zips!

Oh and Michigan State lost at the Big House again. I wonder how those guys feel now.

Illinois beat Western Illinois today 21-0. First shut-out in 7 years.

It was a rather boring game though.

I bet the Michigan vs. Oregon game was boring as well. 39-7 their worst lose since '68.

    Maime...

Sorry to say, but you're not allowed to give shoutouts to IU for football.

Especially since you have just confused Michigan with Michigan State.

    Against Michigan State?

Maybe I don't know. I honestly haven't even heard of that school. Haha. I'm shutting up and going to bed now.

Alright I'm going to PSU-Buffalo next weekend.

Should get some nice pics to put up here if I'm not retarded enough to forget.

Or more likely I'll find pics and not remember taking them lol.

Dude...Michigan loses AGAIN, to OREGON. Going down the shitter.

PSU looked really god yesterday. ND is in scary bad shape right now. Can't wait for ND vs. Mich. I don't know who I want to lose more. I think Michigan.

I just came back from the East Lansing Meijer.

As you walk in, they've got a rack of Appalachian State T-shirts for sale, which I found pretty hilarious.

    Their defense did.

Offense looked shaky-- especially the running game.

I'll agree with that. I don't like Morelli at all, for instance. He's better than he was, but I just don't think he's that good.

Another win yesterday. Glad Quarless is back on the field. Austin Scott sucks. 2 fumbles in his first 3 possessions.

It was pretty cold for the game.

Not sure how we look against Michigan.

Tressel of OSU got his 200th win. But 135 of those wins were with I-AA Youngstown State.

We also had another win. 3-0 so far. Kellen Lewis IU's QB rushed for 198 yards yesterday. I it was practically twice what Akron put on the board and more than our own running backs. It was a pretty good game.

    Yeah, but Akron.

I heard that the Blue Band has very few juniors and seniors because they can't put in the time required with practice and rehearsals and whatnot once the requirements of their major start really kicking in. Is it similar at IU?

It is somewhat but not too extreme. About half of the band is upper class men but that's not typical. There was a huge rookie group that joined this year. About 120 so the total number for band members is about 270 I think. We have a seventh year senior. He's done marching band every year. I hope to do band all four/five years I'm here.

So what if our win was against Akron? It was a win.

    It matters.

    When did you say that?

    Why does it matter?

    Go to post #26.

In college football, strength of schedule matters. There isn't a playoff system in place. When a power conference school like Indiana plays cupcakes, it brings down the entire conference. This, in effect, weakens the bowl bid for not only themselves but the other schools they have played.
