If I buy a new macbook will I be able to use the osX backup discs that come with it to upgrade my other macs to Leopard?

    Methinks that the disk that come with your computer are specific to that type of computer. Now if you buy a new Leopard OS disk, then it should work on your other computers, within certain limitations. The $129 is cheaper than buying a new computer to see if it will work.

    Agreed, and history has shown that the discs that ship with "Mac X" are not universal. However, if you buy a Mac today, it will likely ship with 10.4.10 installed, and come with a free 10.5 universal disc.
