Great, Leopard doesn't fix the iMac freezing issue!

Just upgraded my wife's Alu-iMac (2.4, 4Gb, 320, 28") to 10.5, froze within 10 minutes - this is ridiculous - what is apple doing about this problem? doesn't seem like anything. I'm tempted to take it back to be honest, after over a decade of Mac usage I'm disgusted.

    Sounds like a hardware problem.

Do take it back. You've got a legitimate problem and it should be taken care of.

Don't just fume about it, take it back and get the problem resolved or a new one. That's not the way a Mac should be.

MacFixit.com reports identical freezes on iMacs. You need to do an Achive and Install of Leopard (instead of the simple Upgrade). This should take care of your problem.
