Printer in Leopard

When you print a document, unlike in Tiger, the printer app. dosent automatically quit. Any help would be great. Thanks.

    Right click its icon in the dock. There is an option there to have it quit automatically (from what I have heard).

    I have to say thanks as well, Daffy_Duck, this has also perplexed me since upgrading to Leopard. I'm thinking this option should have been on by default, as it was in Tiger, and definitely included in system preferences .

    You need to run batch processes and you don't want to have the damn thing launch off and on.



    The service requires little resources.
