Weird CD import bug in iTunes 7.5

Has anyone else experienced this?



No matter what setting or encoder you use, the imported track reports as if it were done using VBR (Variable Bit Rate).



So, instead of seeing 128kps, or 320kps, etc., you get 129kps or 324kps.



Very weird....

    It's due to a change in the QuickTime encoder. I first noticed it when I upgraded to Leopard, but the new encoder is included with iTunes 7.5 on all platforms.

    ... been hearing more grumbling lately about substandard mp3 encoding via iTunes...
