48 UKP per Megabyte

which is the same as

$98.50 per MegaBYTE



And I thought hotel WiFi was expensive!

    I'd wager UKP stands for UK Pence in this case, making it around £0.50/MB. That's fairly reasonable, to be honest...



    If on the other hand you're right, then that's shocking!

    Perhaps they've got their bits and bytes mixed up and they mean MB not Mb.



    Do they even offer international data bundles on the iPhone tariffs? That page you linked to only mentioned their non-iphone tariffs.

    I'm certain they mean megabits. It's traditional to mislead whenever possible.

    If you go to Apple's UK iPhone pages and click on the O2 tariff info - you get to this page.

    They are referring to pence, not pounds.



    International roaming is around 6 pounds per megabyte -- about $15 US.

    I think they mean MB though. £6 per Mb is ridiculous. Saying that, £6 per MB is ridiculous too.
