Streaming a FireWire cam...

Looking for a way to have my brand spankin' new FireWire DV cam be streamed live to another machine, Mac or Windows.



Any cheap suggestions? Considered QT Streaming Server + QT Broadcaster, but that seems like serious overkill when my Wintel buddies can grab an H.323 (NetMeeting) compatible app darn near anywhere...

    Okay, you're right. That was much easier than I thought it would be. For some reason, I was thinking Broadcaster was only for the encoding, and you needed both it and QTSS for broadcasting. Which would be silly, given the name. *sigh*

    You need QTSS to stream to more than one client, I believe.
