Cinema Displays: Packaging question
I've yet to see a 23" or 30" Cinema HD Display with the new Leopard desktop on the packaging ? might this suggest that Apple didn't bother to update the packaging because they knew that these displays were about to be replaced, or that they stopped manufacturing the displays before the intro of Leopard and only the last few unit remain in the channel? As far as I'm aware, all the other products have been updated with the Leopard desktop picture.
I'd be interested to hear from people that have bought Cinema Displays recently... when was your display manufactured, and which desktop picture appeared on the packaging?
Apple's 23" and 30" Cinema HD Displays are becoming increasingly harder to source in the UK.
John Lewis reckon the displays are EOL, with the 23"er on backorder.
