Microsoft Inteli Mouse Back/Forward Buttons

Hello All,

I'm new to OS X Leopard and Macs in general. I transfered over my Microsoft mouse with both the back and forward buttons on it but can't get it to work in the same fashion as in Windows. To me the back and forward buttons are extremely useful while surfing the net, so I miss that feature.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Define those buttons as cmd+[ and cmd+].

To do that, you need to install mouse drivers.

If there aren't any for your mouse, you could try the drivers for another mouse.

Finally, generic drivers like USB Overdrive and Steermouse will work. Neither is free.

If all else fails... use the Backspace key ("Delete" on a Mac).

Sure enough it was as simple as installing Mac OS drivers. Coming from Windows that's nothing new but I haven't had to do a thing for the iMac so that had me a little spoiled.

Works perfect now. Thanks for the help.
