Downgrading to Tiger

I have a friend who has just purchased his first Apple. He loves it, but needs to use it for music production- Finale and Pro Tools, which do not yet have drivers ready for Leopard. Where can he find tiger to downgrade? (He's willing to pay for it).

I have a Tiger install DVD, but it's pre intel so I'm pretty sure it won't work.

Thanks for your advice.

That's a bit of a pickle; your friend may have to wait for Leopard drivers.

edit: never mind, I forgot that there is no Intel or UB version of Tiger that is not tied to a particular hardware.

He needs to find someone who bought his type of machine just before leopard was released and use their tiger disc to install (license issues ignored here for a sec)

Perhaps go to an Apple store and ask them to restore from an old DVD?
