what MP3 program can i download for free? Limewire doent work good on Os X...it works fine on the 8.6..... Do you think to download music should i reboot into 9.2?

And of course we're all being responsible, law obiding people and only using Acquisition to download music that we own or is not copyrighted. And we're most definitely not sharing our own copyrighted music.
I use their app at work (Windows and we have a DSL connection). But they do have an OS X version. Haven't used it...have dial-up at home.
But they have some great performances and rare stuff. Fugazi, Butthole Surfers, Queens of the Stone Age, Frank Black, Sublime, Flying Frog Brigade and tons of rare 60's concerts and recordings (Jimi, Janis and Jefferson Airplane).
You might want to get some compression/decompression/converter tools too. The files were usually in mp3 format but now they are .wavs compressed into .shn (shorten) format. Believe me, it's all worth it. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />
