O2 are announcing it as 200,000 units in the UK.
The interesting part is that iPhone users are using mobile data a lot more than users of other devices.

Those figures would suggest 2-3 million sales in Europe by the end of 2008. Probably a little more in North America.
Yes, that would mean Apple will need to get their skates on to make up the difference in Asia! 7-8 Million seems more realistic.
