ipod classic and win xp pro

Hi all,



i hope someone can help, i have just gotten my 1st ipod an 80gig classic, i have all my songs sorted on my laptop by artist and all songs for every artist have titles. however when i put the artists on the ipod its sorts some songs by various artists by track number eg track 1 track 2 etc. how do i get the ipod to recognise all the songs by name

    You're using iTunes on PC, right? So the song titles show up on your laptop in iTunes? If not, that's where you need to make corrections. You CAN add song title info manually, but it's much easier to have it done by iTunes on your laptop first. Then all song data will move across when you transfer to iPod. I've never transferred by artist before, I just move albums and/or songs.
