Formatting HFS with Journaling for Ext. HD

Are there any benefits for formatting an external hard drive as an HSA + with Journaling? Probably the majority of the data on the Hard Drive will be data files.

    Main reason it's better: less fragmentation. FAT32 fragments really easy. Also, FAT32 only supports files up to 4GB. You can also use it as a boot drive if you're using a FireWire interface. Only downside is you have to install software on PCs to view anything on HFS+ volumes. If you have more than one Mac it shouldn't be a problem. Oh, one more thing. Permissions are allowed on HFS+; they are not on FAT32.
