Batch question for Quicktime - please help

I'm looking for software that will take a source Quicktime file and export several Quicktime versions of the same movie using different compression settings (FPS, quality, codec).

There must be something out there? Been looking for ages for software that does this.

Thanks in advance

Jools

Can´t you do this with QT ?

Quicktime has no problems of converting several files at once.

You could create an Automator "script" that will do that for you using QT. Give it a file and then have it set QT to export that file several times, using different settings for each incidence.

Applescript could do the same thing.

Is there no 3rd party software that can do this? surely there must be?

I'm telling you, you can do this with "Automator". And it's not that difficult. You can then save the Automator script as an app and perform all the transcodes with a simple drag-and-drop.
