If I were him, I'd start using a different word altogether. Apple seem to like doing what you least expect no matter how ridiculous. How about 'boing'? Said with a tone that would describe a comedy erection.
"One more thing" is "one more thing" by definition. no plural form,
if you ask me.
Ah, but Steve-O knows how well known "one more thing" is in the Mac community so he's gotten to the point where he'll throw in more than one in a keynote...just to be cute.
It used to be that he'd precede it with thanks for Apple's staff, their families, and wish everyone well. Those were cool -- more unexpected. He'd save it to release a brand new mouse and mention that there's a free one for every person in the room. Stuff like that.
Now it's just a thing to follow all the other updated products in a new product's line. "Those are the updated iPods, but there's just one more thing. People want an iPod with a touchscreen...." Yawn.

Nah, that will get you nowhere. However, I can manage to imagine,
that there is a (visible on stage) female (and/or mixed?) chorus, that's gonna
pitch into all the "Boom" situations with a crisp and deep "Boom".
Not really, after thinking more about it, I'm going to amend my guess to about 9. If they do release something with a multitouch trackpad, when he starts showing off the resizing and rotation pinches, there'll be a lot more 'boom' going around than most peoples' guesses of around 5.

All right, good point. I see, it is very hard to predict. So many unknown parameters here.
But I agree that the "Boom"-rate rises when he tinkers with the Touchpad.
However, as someone else mentioned above, Hardware alone doesn't prove

for "Booms". It's the software, stupid?.
Ultimately, the software for Multi-Touch would have to be on the computer, so it is a marriage of the software and hardware in this case that would cause the boomage.

I cannot wait for the day that every nugget of marketshare/sales info is so far ahead of expectations, and every product announced is so far advanced from the current offerings; the entire keynote would consist of nothing more than El Jobso clicking through clear & concise keynote slides & saying "BOOM!" with each new slide…!

I have only counted one "boom" (during the talk about Apple TV Take 2) and interestingly, a "schoom" (nearer the beginning, can't remember exactly where but I'm sure I could find it).

Somebody in the audience ought to make a real 'boom' whenever Steve says 'boom'.
Which triggers the (unevitable) question, what a real "Boom" is compared
to a Steves "Boom".

I suppose that's up in the air!

Let me guess, it presumably changes the odour of the air?

Why the heck 13? Can you elaborate a bit?

Boom, you're spot on. (*grumble*)

That probably counts for more than 10 "Booms".
.Mac and Movie rentals work Hand in glove. Rent a Movie, store
it temporarily at your iDisk, watch it at your leisure.
Jobs demos the feature by draging a Movie onto the
enhanced iDisk. "Boom."
Boom Boom Boom
Outhere Brothers
I prefer the other one by the Outhere Brothers
I tried to put the lyrics here but my post was removed...
Boom... Boom... BOOMBOX.
Personally I counted less than 10, but I can be wrong anyway.

"schoom"
...
I probably missed that thing. However, how'd you pronounce that
particular word? scoom as in scant? Or else like in schedule?
