    So far... Let down as usual.



    Having to pay for functionality on a product you already own - iPod Touch



    No movie rentals outside of the US



    Presenting the Apple TV... again...



    Yeesh, even worse than I thought it would be! And I am cycnical vetern of these things.

    i don't want to be cynical, but c'mon, apple TV again? $20 upgrade for the iPod touch? I'll leave the jailbreak on mine thankyou.. $20? That's pretty Microsoft of them..

    Actually, with the new functions added to iPod Touch I might give that one a new look too... and this isn't even the "boom" stuff yet.

    You are kidding right? $1799 is inexpensive in comparison.



    Oh...Sony uses the GMA 950 and a slower processor in the base model.

    I'm curious about interface. We know it has at least one USB, a microDVI (wtf, another Apple display port?), 3.5mm audio out, and a MagSafe, but what else? More USB? FireWire?



    Also, whether or not that USB SuperDrive will work on an iMac or a PowerBook. That'd be kick-ass.

    No. Try again. Go compare a Sony TZ series laptop (the MacBook Air's competition) to this, then come back here.
