Can I share my MacBook's wifi with my iPod Touch?

A hotel that I stay at a lot doesn't have wifi - only wired networking. Is there a way for me to use my MacBook to output wifi so that I can use my iPod Touch in the hotel?

i doubt it, the only thing i can think of trying is going into the internet settings and enable internet sharing and then plug your ipod touch in to the computer, but i seriously doubt that will work, but it's worth a try.

The simplest and cheapest thing to do would be to carry an Airport Express around with you to share you hotels ethernet connection with both WiFi devices.

You can but the range will be about 10m,

System preferences - sharing - internet sharing - share my connection from ethernet to computers using airport. Make sure you set up the wireless with a password tho (in the airport options button) otherwise anyone can use it.
