multitouch on macbook pro

Go to google maps and try the pinching/expanding motion to zoom in and out. Looks like the touchpad is capable of multitouch?

    Looks to me that it's simply interpreting it as a two-finger up and down (to zoom in and zoom out), not a true pinch/squeeze.
