Installer doesn't see hard drive!

I am trying to install Mac OS on iBook G3.

I already have it installed but also there was Linux installed and there was 3 partitions.

So I wanted to have just one partition and make a clean install.

The problem is that after I erased all partitions, now the Installer can't see my hard disk. What is wrong?

I opened Disk Utility and I see:

37.3 GB IC25N.....

Untitled

Is this the way they should be? Is this one or 2 partitions?

Also I just saw that the untitled says Not Mounted.

Could this be the problem? If yes, what should I do? Mount ?

Which version of Mac OS are you trying to install?

Did you fully erase the HD?

Try doing a full erase and make sure it is HFS/HFS+ I cannot remember if under 10.3 there was journaled or not. If has journaled I suggest using it.

Lets know how you get on.

I did have some similar problems like this way back in the 10.3 days.

Was it a previous install of application enhancer that caused the problem? (APE)
