Today We Begin iLife, What Will You Do With Yours?

I am eagerly anticipating the new features found in iMovie 3 and iDVD 3. I cant wait to use the Ken Burns Effect and some special effects, then spiff up the entire presentation with a sweet motion menu in iDVD.

What is it that excites you most about it?

I wanna see if they made any changes to how you set up pages for the books, and if you can make any changes to how the layout is done.

Plus I am curious as to whether the have made the PDF output actually readable instead of sideways.

Oops... One more little thing. Will you be able to see what files reside on archived media as thumbnails/info/keywords or will the items shown only be the stuff on the computer at the time. I really would like to have my entire collection as thumbnails, and if I select one on separate media, the computer says "Please insert archive CD x." Now that would be handy!

Editted twice because aparently my grammar was lost earlier today.

Actually, I can't wait to make better slide shows by importing my iPhoto pictures and iTunes songs into iMovie 3 without the fuss it is now. I can't wait to use the retouch tool for a bunch of my pictures that would otherwise be much better (without spending $600 on PS 7 and its healing brush).

The new iTunes integration is the icing on the cake for me.

I am looking forward to a number of things.

    1.) Chapters in iMovie

    2.) More Menus in iDVD

    3.) iPhoto one-click touch up

I can't wait to make this purchase, along with Bourne Identity Tues.

You all might want to check your "New Order Status" at Apple.com. Mine says that it is expected to ship on or before 2/05/03. I am not happy about the news. That is putting it lightly.

I can't wait for iMovie 3, because iMovie 2 can be unstable at times.

I have also seen this...it became very unstable when I had a 3rd party effects package installed. I got rid of that and re-installed it...hasnt been as bad since. It does crash every once in a while...especially when working with voice tracks.

I just bought a scanner so that opens up possibilities for me to use the Ken Burns Effect much more, uhm, effectively. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

I can't wait for iPhoto2 and iMovie3. iPhoto has a ton of potential, and I think the 2nd release will send it more in that direction. iMovie is already great, and I can't wait to see what else is in store for it.

IMovie definately needed the update...it was sorely lacking in a lot of areas.

    1) Chapters for iDVD (great for long recordings)

    2) iMovie in a window. Been asking for this for a couple of years.

How about the delectible integration of iPhoto and iTunes...so easy instead of scrambling and exporting in quicktime and all that junk.

Are there any AAC CD players out there? Don't think so.

for me, it's iphoto 2, as well as itunes working with iphoto's slideshows (though i can live without that).

Hopefully people didnt forget about iLife. The delay has been too long. Maybe it gave some people more time to think of what it is they are anxious for?
