Are you a skier, Shawn? Where was the photo taken at?

I've got Vail's wallpaper on my desktop at the moment. I'm not going to bother to upload it as it's standard fare but I like it. As a skier I always change wallpaper in the fall in anticipation of the ski season.

In April I switch to something else.

    Yup!

That was taken just off Lincoln Peak overlooking Gadd Peak at Sugarbush, VT.

    Love the cat pic!

Funny how the macro mode focused on the nose.

    What's its name?

Awesome: illustrated boobs. I still have the clown fish desktop, which have been in service since Jan 06.

We can also add to the mix the "how many virtual screens [Spaces] do you use" topic. I use 2. I tried 4, but it was needlessly cumbersome. 2 seems to work the best for me.

I deactived it because MS Office 08 doesn't handle spaces well. I haven't tried it with the GM version, but even in Expose the tabs in notebook view separate from the document. It's quite annoying.

Grand Central Station, NYC. Took that picture when I was there in 2005. Unfortunately, no Mac at work, but the Mac at home has the same desktop pic.

Dusty! So named due to his habit, as a kitten, of accumulating all the filth from around the house?behind the refrigerator, under ledges, above the cabinets?only to spread it around the house. I use the Zune theme because it matches his fur and eyes. And yeah, but that is actually a pretty good picture of him. He's so hard to get a good focus on (due to a lack of enthusiasm for photography) that his nose does nicely!

I use four spaces. I do most of my work in the first space and have regular programs open in the second (e.g. Mail, iTunes). Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop open in the third while the fourth is used by Parallels Desktop.

You can "Command + Shift + 3" for screen caps or "Command + Shift + 4" for selecting something smaller to capture.

I use 2 desktop with spaces. Is there any way to put 2 different wall paper for each desktop?
