Not to beat a dead horse, but I've been convinced for quite some time that Adobe notonly puts windows users first, but is slowly but surely going Windows-only. It is only a matter of time in my mind.

Its sad isn't it. But with so many windows user around, this ain't all that surprising. They are a business after all.
That's true, but the Mac way of doing things is better, a more serious problem is that the default color prfile is some crappy Windows one with a narrow color gamut. Is one thing if a business app has bad color management, but when they are starting to corrupt graphics apps with junk color it is alarming.

You mean sRGB ? That's default for years, I think since PS 5 (?). Whatever. It sucks, but it also shows that PS since then is more focused to web graphics (for Windows users), in contrast to RGB/CMYK it was before. I mean, sRGB for print is indeed plain stupid. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />
Adobe's pandering to Wintel has been obvious to the point of sickening over the last 4 years or so. In a way I understand because Self Preservation is a Human Trait and Humans run companies.
This is where Marketshare of Apple's lack thereof is most damaging.
