I just saw it available in my MUMenu. Its not direct from Mozilla. There's a bug when you first open it. Just Open a new window and your good to go. Its okay, gots some speed to it. Yet I ask do we need yet another web browser? I now have eight...geez!!!

Check it out...or not the desision i leave to you...

You do realize that you don't need to have all eight of them, right? Seriously, it's good to have a wide variety of choices.

    Variety means competition.

    Competiton brings better products.

    This is a bad thing?

Dude, can you not even see the irony in your words?

    Even <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=002200"; target="_blank">competing threads</a> are good for everyone!

Eh, Phoenix was never really meant for Mac, someone just happened to do a recompile or port (or whatever it is) just to see how it would work. I pretty much only use Phoenix for Windows, and it's a nice browser. It'd be cool if someone (or a group) did some work on a more refined OS X port, cause it's a pretty good browser, and I'd use it over Chimera if certain things were fixed.

it uses the geko engine, is it faster than Chimera? Faster than safari?

the more i use safari, the less i use Chimera, but Chimera is still #1 (for now)

I agree with Brad. Competition is always good.
