Apple TV: connect to a TV and a Receiver at the same time?

Just bought the Apple TV and going to hook it up tonight. I keep the speakers on my TV muted and only use my Bose Surround Sound receiver. Does Apple TV have an issue with connecting the DVI/HDMI connection to the TV and the audio to the receiver? The instructions don't cover that option, and I would think a lot of people prefer to hook up their TV that way.

    No problem at all. You even have a choice, optical or stereo cables. Which ever works with your receiver.
