OLED Screens
I just recently purchased an iPod Touch (I love it!).
I understand that certain technology is going to cost more but I have think this one would really help in the near future.
An OLED screen would be thinner, require no backlighting (even thinner), and even less power.
The main problem with OLED screens has been holding their color (last time I did any research)
I don't really think this would be a problem. iPods in general don't have much of a life after 5 years. I'm sure many of you have had one longer, but realisticly you've probably bought a newwer one to go with it.
This is something I'd love to see.

Could this be in Future Hardware?
Not really.
Could this be in Future Hardware?
Doesn't the iPod already exist???? I just want a better screen. Maybe a dvi out and a 3mp cam, but that's dreaming. An OLED makes sense for both us and Apple Corp....just not yet

When i say hardware i mean the OLED screens.
For example The MacBook Pro already exists but there is like 4-6 Threads in the future hardware of the new hardware it will have.
I see Ireland's point where it can stay in the Ipod section. because it is a Ipod :P

Yes it does, but that's what the iPod + iTunes + Apple TV forum is for.
If you are talking about a current Mac or Ariport Extreme etc. then Current HW is the place, but not when it comes to iPods.
Noticed how (like many technological things) the military gets it first.
