Trouble with Photoshop CS2. Help!

Photoshop CS2 won't launch for me anymore. It will bounce in the dock for a little while, and then stop. I have refreshed permissions, uninstalled EVERYTHING that has to do with Adobe and then reinstalled, several times. Ran disk utility and corrected any issues there. Got rid of all fonts that fontbook said were bad. I'm at a loss, I've done everything all the troubleshooting guides I could find said to try....the rest of CS 2 applications work, just not photoshop. The only other thing I can think to do is wipe my HD and start fresh...but I would rather not...

If it matters I'm running Tiger OS X.

One step which is always worth trying is to create a new user account and see if it will launch when logged in as a new user.

There were a couple of weird problems with CS1 which would cause Photoshop to fail at launch. Check the following:

    1) Check that you have the following folder: /Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types/

    2) Check your time zone settings in System Preferences > Date % Time. If it's something strange like "GMT/etc" change it.
