I was downloading iMovie 3 with Safari and when it was done it treated the .dmg file kind of like a .sit file, check out the movie I made...

With Safari, Apple introduced a new kind of Disk Image, an Internet Disk Image. Basically, after downloading an Internet Disk Image, Safari opens it, runs the installer, and deletes the Disk Image file. A handy feature, which can be disabled by the way.

Yup, its a very useful feature. I was so pleasantly surprised when it first happened. It was the critical feature that made me dump Chimera.

Yeah I noticed that too...I like that feature too. Using Safari is kind of like using a dynamic Desktop. Everything kind of integrates like you would expect it to in the Desktop.
