    get <a href="http://www.neo-modus.com/DirectConnect.dmg.sit"; target="_blank">Direct Connect</a>

You'll learn how to use it quick... plus it doesnt have any spy ware.

I have found that Limewire is very similar to Kazaa: <a href="http://www.limewire.com"; target="_blank">Limewire</a>

Anything Gneutella sux @$$ in my opinion. It doesnt always work right... where as DC always works right.... or at least it does for me. Limewire is too slow for me. and Cube my hub should be up. Connect to it at macfansanime.dyndns.org:1090. You need those numbers at the end because thats the hub port. If you get disconnected please dont complain to me about it. I'm well aware of the problem and I'm trying my best to get it fixed.

    Thanks,

Acquisition works great, but you might have to install the 1.4.1 beta of the Java engine from <a href="http://connect.apple.com"; target="_blank">http://connect.apple.com</a>; since it's much more stable. The ppl experiencing problems may have done so because of instability in the Java engine.

Limewire might benefit from that too, AFAIK.

Acquisition's by far the best p2p app for OS X I've tried though.

Acquisition is better than the rest. Has never let me down yet.

Acquisition blows. It'd be a decent program if it could to more than 12 hubs at a time, and wasn't so slow in gathering up hosts. It was a usable program when it actually conencted to up to 20 and acquired A LOT of hosts for each one. Now I can't find anything on it anymore.

Here are a few public mac hubs.

    macs.kicks-ass.net

    0.myftp.org

    macfansanime.dyndns.org

    169.229.200.98:1090

Once in DC, click connect, then public, then type 'mac' into the search field and hit return. The search field will narrow to any mac related hub, double click any hub to connect. DC really is the only decent p2p app. If you ever feel a bit more adventurous you can google for BitTorrent and/or eDonkey.
