Out of the blue, Safari will no longer work for me.
When I start it, it says "the application Safari has unexpectantly quit". I've logged out, restarted and even redownloaded the application. What the hell? Any ideas?

You didn't change Safari's folder in your Home Folder did you? I did that last week with one from www.xicons.com and it took me a few days to figure out what went wrong...
There is a bug in Safari where the preferences can get corrupted and the app will refuse to launch. Simply delete the prefs file and Safari should launch fine. Your bookmarks will remain intact because they are stored elsewhere.
