really interesting. i doubt it's meant to be a generic representation of touch devices since it doesn't follow any of the design cues of either the iphone or ipod touch. that's a good find.

    Is it the N82?

Anyway, if Apple decides to remove the add this should prove this device is real

OK... I was thinking the same thing.

If Apple came out with such a device, here's what I think it would have:

    -Intel Atom processor

-16 or 32 GB of flash memory

-7" multi-touch screen with LED backlight

-Wi-Fi and EDGE/3G data (no voice or Bluetooth, as not to cannibalize iPhone sales)

-Safari, e-mail, iTunes, e-book reader, and other features

-7 hours of battery life for Web browsing, 13+ hours for e-books

-Runs iPhone and iPod touch apps

And it would be priced at $499 and $599. Sounds about right to me...

I've been eagerly waiting for an over-sized iPhone-like tablet for a while now. I want one bad, primarily for reading purposes. I hope this thing is for real and that it's 2.5 to 3 x the size of iPhone but with the same basic user interface. This thing with OS X and it's graphic layer, SDK, and multi-touch interface would be the perfect book and digital content reader, I'd fill it! It'll make the Kindle seem likes a child's play toy for reading by comparison. Imagine flipping pages and having them fold over as if they're real pages then being able to tap the screen and have a text box open with a virtual keyboard so you can add a thought or note and link it to a place in the book or document!!!! I'm so stinkin' excited.

I would infiltrate Apple headquarters myself.......really I would. It is just that I'm feeling a bit under the weather lately so I would rather let one of you crafty individuals attempt it.

    - Same motherboard as iPod Touch

    - 9" AMOLED screen

    - Wimax

    - 64 MB internal memory

    - Huge battery life (12 hours)

    - $699

Your not a fanboy unless you know what the n82 is.

Ok ok. Its one of the codenames apple uses for its platforms.

The m68 is the iphone while the n45 is the ipod touch. The n82 designation is for as yet unassigned apple mobile product from some online document somewhere.
