Why do people still use this?

I can't wait until Carracho goes final and has indicators next to each person saying whether they're uploading/downloading. And it will be nice when it comes out for PC too, even though PC users aren't as good.

Well, for one, there are still a few Hotline based communities out there that I'm a part of. Frogblast is my client of choice though.

It still has the crappy OS 9 interface. It still sucks.

Then you weren't looking hard enough. I was a rather dedicated member of the hotline community, but was pampered by private communities.

Does anyone remember Bill's Bad Ass Backup? The Imperial Garden? merc?

<a href="http://www.hotspringsinc.com/"; target="_blank">http://www.hotspringsinc.com/</a>; is the new Hotline development site. A bunch of former Hotline SW employees regrouped and continue to work on it. Hopefully they can actually make some progress. Hotline needs it.

Now I know this isn't be best practice, especially for a first post... but...

My goodness, I remember those days! I had almost forgotten. By 2003 I had long since switched away from Hotline, and on to WinMX (Because I was a PC user for one more year at that time, before switching). But holy crap!

    That is all.

Sorry for reviving a dead post. I only hope that someone can share this sense of nostalgia with me.
