Pentagon bans Google Earth teams from military bases.

Really guys...you mean you don't want street view for those things? I can't imagine why. Can I get a Duh?!?!

Any better ones?

The truly 'duh' moment in that story is the revelation that one army base allowed Google in.

Isn't that the same as "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"?

To be fair, he wasn't saying everything was fine at all. He was taking issue with the reporter citing "experts" saying gas was going to be $4.00 a gallon. Bush said hadn't heard that, but you have to know the context of the reporter's statement. There is no consensus that gas is going to $4 a gallon..only some worst case scenarios and prices in certain geographic locations.

But yeah, I agree...the economy is about to go in the shitter. Ironic that I'm going to apply for a mortgage today!

    Please make it stop.

    Gates sees technology advancing.

As an aside, I love how Gates tries to prognosticate like this. He follows Jobs around like a puppy it seems. The difference is Jobs says something, and then it, uh..happens.
