DVD player for MAC

in Mac Software edited January 2014
Just wondering if there was a different DVD player out there for OSX? I think the DVD player that comes with it is fine, but either I can't find it or it is missing one feature that I like. I don't know what it is called but it is the little progress line that you can click on and go to anywhere in a recording.

For example, on Itunes, if you go to the top where it says what song is playing there will be a progress bar that you can use to go to anyplace in the song. That is what I would like to do with DVDs. Any suggested downloads out there?

Thank you

You can use VLC to play back DVDs. It can be a bit flaky at times though...

Edit: The DVD player that comes with Leopard allows you to skip to any section of the DVD. There is a progress bar at the bottom of the window which is normally hidden until you move the mouse. This is also available when playing in full screen.

It's called... DVD Player. You can also play it back in front row.
