Does anyone know why Dreamweaver MX for windows has tabs but the OS X version doesn't. Is there any update that gives the OS X version tabs. Thanks a lot.
If you are editing more than one page at once you have a seperate window for each page but in windows xp version you have tabs on the bottom of the first page you opened so you can get through the pages quickly. This feature would also be great on a iBook.
He means that when you hold down the command key and hit the tilde key (the one to the right of the number 1 key, you can cycle through docs. This plays true is a lot of applications.

Command-~ (tilde) is the unofficial global command for switching windows in a Mac application. Dreamweaver has overridden it for the Switch Code View command.
Not does it seem to pay any attention to the Window Cycling command in Full Keyboard Access.
The only thing you can do (which I've done, actually) is override Dreamweaver's command-~ using a macro, with a program such as Keyboard Maestro, Youpi Key, or Key Xing.
There is a way to switch between open documents in dreamweaver with a key command. Control-Tab. I know it's not the most user-friendly way of doing things, when almost every program has command-~, but it still works. And it's consistent with the windows version. It's just that the windows version has a one-window viewing of all open documents, with each organized in a little tab at the bottom.
Honestly, Dreamweaver is the _only_ program I've ever liked to use more on a pc than a mac, for the one reason of having a unified working space, as opposed to the open window design of Dreamweaver MX for OS X. Still love how it runs on my pb867 though.

Working on an iBook's screen makes tabs sound really nice...
You can, however, switch between docs using the CMD-tilde key command!
