Most Likely: I think we'll see a huge focus on Mobile OS X apps.

Less Likely: I think we'll see the Pro apps with Blu-ray support included.

iPhone iPhone iPhone. Apple announce Gobsmacking new apps for the iPhone. Google integration is mind blowing .

Apple acquires Telestream ..no announcement on Final Cut Studio 3 or Blu-ray but you know it's coming.

Apple gives a name to 10.6. It's Lion. OS X 10.6 becomes affectionately known as "Simba"

They demo a couple savory features but most of it is kept under wraps.

Apple announces iWeb Pro- Not only does it support the new hotness features of HTML5 but there are templates and export options that make iPhone accessible websites but a mere few clicks.

You have to hold down the Control key (or right click) and choose to open in a new window or tab when you click the Edit button.

Cool. I was wondering what the problem was.

This is just a work around. There is an issue with the PHP that isn't allowing it to edit your post within the same page, but a new window/tab refreshes the page and allows for it to occur. As best as I can figure.

World-wide release of the iPhone 3G, not tied to specific carriers.

Ah, if dreams would come true...

    my predictions...

    1) people will be disappointed no matter what

    2) the share price will drop

    3) 2 models of iphone, at least one with 3G, cheaper model similar spec to current iphone but more slim-line and 'air' like.

    4) new model of ipod touch

    6) an awful lot of funky new app's demoed.

    then my wish list...

    7) the more expensive iPhone model gains an extra e-ink display on the back of the phone for use as keyboard and other things.

    8) remotely access your desktop computer, browse images, stream music, etc

Any chance they announce new Macbook designs at WWDC? Or will this be announced later? Or is this rumor not actually coming to fruition this summer?

Most likely later in the year after Montevina is shipping.

Isn't Montevina slated to begin shipping at the end of May, though?

Yes, but that doesn't mean production is in full swing or that Apple has had enough time to integrate them into their systems. A Sept-Nov release of Montevenia/Penryns is most likely using historical figures.
