Anyhow. Why does Apple insist on having such a huge price inflation on comparable PCs?
Some say it isn't "as bad" anymore, but when comparing a modern higher-end dell with any number of corporate discounts, or even regular sales, the Dell undercuts the Apple in price by sizable amounts.
But it's kind of like the pay difference between men and women.
Everyone would rather look at a room full of hot women engineers, but they pay men more.

This from a person who "claims" to be offended by a so-called racial slur which no one has ever heard of and was obviously not intended that way. Way to go Binky... someone is having a good day (and making all of ours here at AI better for it -- haven't had so many laughs from people going off on Digi-Chan in awhile -- but then, I'm in the middle of a script that is anything but funny, so I'm easily amused).

I'm sorry, I guess I didn't make myself clear. It's a dramatic episode that's emotionally draining to work on. Humor wouldn't be applicable. And you're funny, but not in a ha-ha way anyway. It's been everyone's put-downs that have been refreshing for me.

Me, I know why I'm taking the time. I need a recharge on my soul at the moment, and this is lightweight, and the Lakers aren't playing (though the Piston game was good, and the Spurs/Hornets is strong). Also, all my Macs are running just fine (which they just seem to do), so I'm churning away, and I just found a wonderful house in Costa Rico that I'm going to have to go down and look at. You?
