Firefox 3 Problem

Greetings all,

I get the following message everytime I launch FF3:

?Firefox3.app? is an application which was downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?"

The "Do not show this message again" button isn't present. I don't see an applicable preference in FF3.

Anyone else get this or have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Steve

That's a message for the 1st opening of a downloaded program isn't it?

Are you using a program to clear system logs or caches? If so, it will reset the used application list...if it bothers you just clear it less often!

Thanks, S. Re clearing program: I don't think so. Sorry I wasn't clear in my second post-I'm no longer getting that message. It must occur on just the first few launches.

I found an unusual error popping up in FF3...

If you track your stocks with Yahoo Finance, FF introduces an error in the simple addition of column totals. In Safari it's still correct.

    Odd error, that....

And another site-specific error I've been getting: Here on AI, I cannot click on the "New Posts" button once I've navigated inside a thread. Instead, I have to click on "Forums", THEN click on "New Posts".
