how do u dial up w/os X

I can't seem to get my imacs internal modem to dial up with OS X. it always says athentication failed. by the way im using earthlink. any help is appreciated.

    same as they are in os 9...ppp and all that everythings the same. Maybe os 10 needs it different?

    I use earthlink dialup myself, and found it's actually easier to setup than in os 9.

    About the only thing I can tell you is make SURE you type your password right, and put your name as whatyournameis@earthlink.net

    i use earthlink from DSL and Dialup ... switching configurations daily and never had a problem ... earthlink's own help page addresses the settings for OS 10 in great detail... that should tell you if your settings are OK anyway.
