Hi. When an iPhone has 8GB or 16GB of memory is dedicated to just user storage? Or is that combined with storage for application installs, etc? For example on a MS SmartPhone there is storage for the OS, then also storage for application installs, and other users files such as pictures, music, etc.

    8 or 16 is all it will have ... no dedicated



    The OS will take up some... so from the get-go you have less than 16 or 8

    Bummer, I was really hoping that was at least dedicated to user storage... I may have to wait for the 32GB version...

    how many apps and storage could you possibly need?



    16GB is quite a bit of space just for Apps

    Oh, I was hoping to combine phone, MP3 player and video player all in one. I suppose I still could, it would just require a lot of shuffling.
