    Apple's launching the Fall iPod season as soon as possible.

    This likely means that September will be a month with a lot more than one big announcement.



    Regarding the iPod, I think that the Touch moniker will be gone in favour of positioning it simply as the top-of-the-line iPod model. Also, it will be interesting to see whether how far SSDs go towards completely displacing HDDs in the new models.



    It's also way past time the new fitness training software made an appearance and reinvigorated iPod sales overall.
